The CITB Director’s Role for Health and Safety (DRHS) is a one-day interactive course designed for company directors and senior managers who hold strategic responsibility for health, safety, welfare and environmental risk across construction, infrastructure, civil engineering and allied sectors.

Course duration and assessment
The CITB Director’s Role for Health and Safety (DRHS) runs over one day (typically around 7.5 hours excluding any pre-course eLearning). Delegates may be required to complete pre-course eLearning (approximately 1.5 hours) covering foundational topics in health and safety law and leadership, before attending the face-to-face session.
Assessment includes participation in group exercises, case-study reflections and a two-part written assessment. On successful completion you will receive the official CITB certificate, valid for five years.
