CITB Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC)

The CITB Temporary Works Co-ordinator (TWC) course is a two-day training programme designed for individuals on construction, building, infrastructure, refurbishment or maintenance sites who have, or will have, responsibility for managing and coordinating temporary works.
This Temporary Works Co-ordinator course forms part of the CITB Site Safety Plus portfolio and aims to equip delegates with a recognised baseline of knowledge and understanding of the role of a Temporary Works Co-ordinator under the relevant standards (including BS 5975).

Delegates should have a good understanding of written and spoken English and some relevant site experience of temporary works or managing site operations.

Course duration and assessment
The CITB Temporary Works Co-ordinator (TWC) course runs over two days delivered via classroom or virtual format. On successful completion delegates receive the official CITB Site Safety Plus certificate, valid for five years.

Eligibility criteria
To attend the TWC course delegates should ideally have some experience of temporary works or site management, although there are no strictly formal prerequisites in many cases.
